BRUCE PENNAMPED: I have experience in property division cases that primarily dates back to the first inherited property case, which was decided by the Indiana Supreme Court in 1975. Going forward from that, we've dealt over the years with about every type of property division that you could imagine from professional practices to manufacturing companies to patents and intellectual property.
High asset property division cases are about the most complicate type of litigation that you can become involved in, in a divorce. They involve very sophisticated evaluation techniques, which involve having to retain and engage accountants, potentially actuaries, potentially pension consultants, a wide range of experts across the board, including real estate appraisers and securities folks.
I believe we stand apart from other attorneys who handle these types of cases in terms of property division in that we tend to bring to the table a long history of dealing and involvement with these kinds of cases and a wide range of experience across the board on assets.
